After being ripped off by a roofing company in early 2022, I engaged a roof leak specialist who referred me to Joniec Plumbing. Although my trust in this industry had been diminished considerably, I contacted Joniec and explained my situation to the admin lady. She was very empathetic and organised for the owner of the company, Blake, to attend and conduct a full inspection of my roof. Blake was polite, honest and highly professional. A few days later I received a detailed report and a quote for works that would resolve my roof issues. It took almost 12 months for my legal case against the dodgy company to finalise, so I had to delay Joniec’s works until recently. Thanks to these legends, I now have a brand new water – tight roof. I’m not sure if I am really doing this company a favour by posting this review because I know they are already flat out with plenty of work in the “pipeline”, however, in my opinion, the reason why they are busy is that they a very good at what they do. My job was a replacement of a galv. water pipe, however it involved connections to water pumps and rainwater plumbing from a tank to laundry and toilet and connection to garden taps. From the beginning this company was innovative and responsive and were able to adapt or change old poly pipe fittings to long lasting copper. The end result is not only fit for purpose, and will most probably out live me, but it also looks like a fine work of plumbing. I watched these fellows work hard for a full day and have admiration for their work effort. But don’t take my word for it, if you have a plumbing work to be done, give them a go and see for yourself. They will certainly get my repeat business.

I had a big water mark on ceiling due to leaking from the roof, Joniec plumber came over on time, checked carefully and found the reason was multiple cracks in the tile ridge capping, which was quickly fixed in about 30 minutes, they also explained what they found and how they fixed it nicely and politely, total fee was $165. I had what I considered was a difficult job and looked for a company that could do everything required. The job involved putting in additional water pipes, redirecting roof gutter down pipes, as well as emptying and removing two old water tanks. Based on their website, I chose Joniec Plumbing.
Amanda in the office organized Luke to come out and give me a quote. He was very professional in his approach and also checked around the property and picked up a leaking pipe that I hadn’t noticed.

Had the entire house water supply mains replaced after the old underground galvanised pipe burst.
Joniec took a while to come out for a quote (no doubt they are busy) and I almost ended up going with another reputable plumber whose quote ended up being 2.5x the price.
Joniec were well worth the wait, they had a good idea of how the challenges could be tackled affordably and logically during the quote and did an amazing job on the day. They are definitely amongst some of the top trades people I have engaged. Sam, Campbell and Dave, worked all day including both on top of and inside the roof, they had great attention to detail, gave updates and cleaned up after themselves making sure everything worked, and that we were happy at the end of the day. Cannot recommend them highly enough for customer service and value and will definitely be using them again in the near future.
